ABBY have always sought to move forwards.
The German four piece ply a neat line in dark psychedelia, an absorbing, guitar-driven noir sound which has propelled them to slots at Iceland Airwaves and SXSW, amongst others.
Absorbing fresh sounds, ABBY have begun to layer techno's clinical electronic abstraction under their songwriting. Vocalist Filou explains: “We can all get along with techno’s abstractions and feeling of togetherness. We all like to party – all four of us soon realised that Berlin is not just an aspiration, it’s a real way of life that you have to approach with respect.”
New album 'Hexagon' arrives on October 2nd, with ABBY deciding to share the video for 'Hush'. An absorbing return, the band explain: "'Hush' is the first track from our upcoming album 'Hexagon'. Whether you're a fugitive from your past, your future, your generation, your family/lovers, your home country... or your art; every human longs for escape. One sometimes needs to silence the demons inside."
