Chanel Preston is stepping behind the camera, and making a bit of history in the process. Chanel will be helming an all-girl title for James Deen Productions, making her the first person who is not Deen to direct a film produced by the production house. Girlfriends Films will be handling distribution of the title this February.
Chanel Preston’s style and work ethic align perfectly with James Deen Productions. “Chanel will not accept anything but perfection,” stated owner James Deen. “She believes in what she is creating and is going to give it her all.”
“I’m very honored and thankful to James Deen Productions for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to pursue my goals in the adult industry,” Chanel Preston said. “It’s truly a great day when you can join with an outstanding company, which shares your passion and creative vision.”
When asked why he took a chance on an inexperienced director, Deen said, “One time Chanel was speaking to me about the philosophy of presenting something which could be conceived as scary in a beautiful way. My response was to ask if she had ever thought of directing.”
“Chanel presented me with a treatment for her idea, and I thought it was one of the most creative and clever ideas I had heard in quite a while. After a quick conversation about aesthetics, it was clear we were on the same page, and I could trust her with taking the reigns and producing an amazing project… one I hope will be her first of many.”
