Stonebridge, North West London based rapper, K Koke links up with Don Phenom to go back to back on their brand new joint effort Callin Me.
It’s been quite a turbulent journey in his music career so far but K Koke has slowly started to begin releasing music again this year – included a very well received, thought provoking, conceptual project in FFF Prison – which saw the rapper tell his story in a little more detail, expounding upon how the police simultaneously plagued his career and life continuously for a number of years. Listen to the full project via all major digital platforms including Spotify here.
Callin Me sees K Koke step away from all of the heavy, conceptual rap and get back to having fun as Koke and Don Phenom drop some playful bars yet still keep it real and authentic – subtly layering the song with substance all at the same time. Finishing each other’s lines and bouncing off their energy and flipping phrases etc is what makes this entertaining back and forth exchange throughout the new joint what it is.
The Dardan Sadiku shot visuals see the pairing surrounded by beautiful women in intimate settings with dim lights and what seems like copious amounts of alcohol in attendance as well.
