South London rapper Yung Fume keeps on bringing them waves following the release of his latest EP called Too Much Wave 2.
The EP came out last Friday and if you thought Yung Fume was going to take a while before dropping something, he just put out the visuals to “Bands”, the first single off his Payday Records signed EP.
The video – directed by Bravo – is definitely different, bringing in some insane 360 degree fisheye camera effects and a lot of vibrant coloured, fast paced captions to compliment the Nyge produced beat. We see Yung Fume in some unexpected locations, such as turning up at on a golf course to chilling with his mates on a boat over Thames. Delivering on a a catchy, downtown tempo, Yung Fume raps about his lifestyle and achievements, flexing on what money can bring him and to the people around him.
Yung Fume has something unique to his sound and he puts out catchy hooks and punchlines while you can really hear the USA trap type of sound influence: “Get the money, run it up quick/ I set than I jet”.
“Too Much Wave 2” comes ahead Yung Fume’s upcoming headlining show at London’s O2 Academy.
Make sure you check the visuals out now via GRM Daily.
