16-year-old rap maestro Brodie makes his Link Up TV debut as he joins forces with Natasha Watts to bring us fresh visuals to his latest musical offering in the form of, Street Life.
Street Life is definitely a feel good vibe from the summertime fresh visuals to the bouncy, playful, yet deliberate bars and relaxed delivery to the commercial sounding but equally catchy hook. Brodie details what the world is like during summer time through his eyes – painting a vivid picture of what things could be if “we change the middle finger to a peace sign”.
Brodie’ is an up and coming talent who seems to be receiving a lot of welcomed attention from established artists and producers alike due to his unique style and very evident potential. Street Life’, was deliberately created to serve as a juxtaposition of the gritty lifestyle in North London – where Brodie was raised and is intended to shine a positive light on his community.
