Meg Remy will release her next U.S. Girls album In a Poem Unlimited next month, and she's given us another sneak peek at the new material with a video for "Pearly Gates."

The track features guest vocals from James Baley and takes its inspiration for the bitingly clever lyrics from someone else's story.

"Some years back a story was recounted to me about a man attempting to convince a woman to engage in unprotected sex by saying 'Don't worry, I'm really good at pulling out," Remy said [via Stereogum]. "I thought this was a hilariously stupid thing to say and knew that one day I would build a song around this line."

The accompanying clip was directed by Chrissy Jones, and further plays on the religious (or sacrilegious, depending on your beliefs) imagery of the song.

Watch the video for "Pearly Gates" below.

In a Poem Unlimited is out February 16 via 4AD/Royal Mountain.
