Razor has unveiled the highly anticipated visual for his track entitled Letter To God.
Hailing from North West London, Razor is a remarkable independent rapper and storyteller. The artist has opened up for mainstream artists such as Krept and Konan, as well as featuring on singles with Gappy Ranks and J Soul.
In July, Razor released his mixtape entitled The Cover Up which includes Letter To God, Heart On My Sleeve, Best Friend, Brotherhood and Afraid.
Following the release of his mixtape, Razor unveiled the imaginative and artful visuals for Heart On My Sleeve.
Now, Razor is back with another video.
Letter To God is a very intimate track with gut wrenching depth. Razor is honest and open – letting us in on his personal feelings. The track goes through so many emotions that even if you don’t relate to every line, you’ll find a part that touches your soul.
“I run from my past like a fugitive, I can’t keep doing this…”, says Razor as he stands outside of the crown court. The visuals see the artist in a series of locations such as in an alleyway, outside of court and inside a church. He’s alone in the video which makes the impact of the track stronger because it makes viewers feel like a fly on the wall; secretly witnessing Razor’s personal moment with God.
The video is directed by Dir.Yus – owner of 12_Pills.
Letter To God is deep and thought-provoking. Check it out by watching the video above.
