Allison Crutchfield is known to most for her work in Philly DIY outfits like Swearin' and the recently reunited P.S. Eliot (which she originally formed with her twin sister, Katie, of Waxahatchee), but she's returning to the realm of solo work for a new record later this month.

Ahead of Tourist in This Town's arrival, Crutchfield has unveiled a video for album cut "I Don't Ever Wanna Leave California." It was co-directed by Catherine Elicson and Crutchfield herself, and pairs the synth-tinged tune with visuals that harken back to the warmer, sunnier days of summer — even if the featured "beach" is totally man-made and actually located in a coat-requiring climate.

Tourist in This Town officially lands on January 27 through Merge. Find Crutchfield's upcoming North American tour dates here, and watch the video for "I Don't Ever Wanna Leave California" below.
