Norwegian band Gold Celeste dropped debut album 'The Glow' last year, a wonderfully creative document that veered from shoegaze to blissed out psych, and beyond.
Since then, the group have released stand-alone single 'The Wonder Of Love', before heading out into the woods to start afresh.
Gold Celeste sent Vivid this missive:

The modest three filled the van with instruments and recording equipment and cameras, went on a road trip to Petter’s childhood home with the visual wizard Benedikte Olsen. After setting things up while eating mom’s cinnamon rolls and getting some much needed tan in the sun, a couple of takes later the trio had conjured the base, to neighbours amusement (or frustration?).
A need for extended arrangements called for a trip to the forest a few days later. Backpacks filled to the brim, melting together this anthem captured the need to shed some rays of light into the current wave of polarization and disarray. Tired of d-bag Trump, Hitlary, misplaced race/gender-cards, trolls and pocket monsters selling your data? Check this out!
The results are gathered on new cut 'There's A Window (From Petter's Garden)'. Charting another point in their wholesome evolution, it has the psychedelic drift of Tame Impala, and the sheer innocence of Animal Collective.
It's the sound of Gold Celeste coming into their own - endless nights spent watching the stars chart their path across the sweet Norwegian night.
Tune in now.
